Well I guess the secret is out, that I have been more active with my writing this year. I figured with my new found enthusiasm, I should change the way I do my writing, and I won’t bore you with those details again. I reiterate that with all of the new writing, I have also embraced the “art” of writing, and that is why some of you are seeing this Dinosaur of an old idea getting a new life. The Blogaholics Anonymous idea has been around since the Yahoo 360 days and it has evolved over and over again, but each time it has been better than the last time.
In this newest “remake” of the same old idea (Perhaps Blogaholics 4.0) we still have a forum for people to post their blogs and “push” them to a broader audience. We still have this blog for users of Blogaholics Anonymous to get a bit more exposure by posting blogs here in a group forum, and of course shamelessly plugging your own blogs. We still have the place to post tips and tricks for blogging. What I am personally adding to this new wrinkle is a place to post blogs ABOUT blogging where I acquire new tips and tricks for my blog, and then share them with all of you. My newest passion is following groups about blogging on G+ and it has helped quite a bit.
Please share the word about Blogaholics Anonymous, be helpful when you can, and remember the only bad writing is that which is stuck in your brain and never finds its way to other people’s eyes. Most people don’t get rich from this hobby, but many of us do make enough to support the hobby. Please share your ideas for how you “get by” and in combination with everyone else’s ideas on how they “get by” we may just upgrade ourselves to “getting by and going out to dinner once in a while” which believe it or not, is a lot better than most can say.
Like any blog post I do, you can post questions in the comments section, and I always respond to them. If I don’t have the answer I have always been able to find someone with the answer. We’re all in this together. Be kind and follow the links to the original blog if you want to post a comment. It means a lot to the writer to know that you took the time, and it helps them look more popular to their readers. Again, the Blogaholics Anonymous community is all about all of us, and we’re all pretty cool if you ask me.

Once you have signed up you can post your blogs by e-mail. The easiest way to do this is to have your blogs sent to your e-mail after you post them, and then forward the e-mail to blogaholics-anonymous@googlegroups.comso that we all get to have them sent to our e-mail boxes. Send an e-mail to thewhackoblogs@gmail.com with your Google ID if you would like to write blogs for this blog, and I will set you up. We’d love to hear from you!
