Now of course I have learned to have a filter on these things because I like being married and hope to stay that way, but everything IS an opportunity to blog. The Life Whacko is still my most popular and wide read blog, and most of what I put in there is "boring" by the standards of most people. My readers of course are NOT most people, and it's what I love about them. Blogs about yard work, songs that get stuck in my head while I am driving, and even the ridiculously boring things that I do at work, are really popular. If you spend a lot of time worrying about what you are writing and not enough time writing, then you are failing your audience.
Now of course having several blogs gives me the opportunity to write about things I might think are valuable to others, like say a blog with blogging tips. The fact of the matter is that just about everything you share is valuable to someone and analyzing it can make you go mad. As I always say, just be you, and the audience will find you, not because you are the greatest thing since sliced bread, but because you may be a different variety of sliced bread that others may just like the flavor of.
