Blogging Tip of the Day: Vol. 58

Today's Tip: Don't give up! It really does take a little time to get settled into the blogging world, and too many people just give up right before they are about to make something out of themselves. This isn't just about waking up one day and saying "I have one reader, I quit!" although that happens a lot, it is also about the blogger who has created something good, but gives up on IT too easily to gain some quick views. I languished in obscurity for a long time people. I point out that I have been blogging for a decade, and I have the blogs to prove it, but most of them were embarrassingly unpopular. I didn't quit, I may have taken breaks, but when I came back I came back like I owned the world, even though I never did, until I was consistent.

I don't usually do this but I want to take a moment to point out some great blogs that have great content, so that you can see what I mean. In reality I am recruiting all of you to go and read these and see what I mean about great bloggers that need readers. I think you all have what it takes to understand how great these blogs are ....

The Blog of +Tim Clark over at Life Explained is a must read, especially if you like slanted humor, in a moderately serious environment ...

The Blog of +Rachel Rennie gets better and more complex every week. You can read her blogs over at Rachel Rennie (Yeah it isn't catchy but at least she has her brand front and center!) We also look to her to make sure that we are sharing the right posts on the right day. It isn't easy for her to keep us in line ...

The Blog of +Richard G. Stevens which also has the snappy name of Richard G Stevens - Author (branding branding branding folks) ...

The Blog of +Adele Archer who writes for her own blog Adele Archer Writes. Unfortunately she doesn't blog enough because she is in book writing mode, but you'll get gems here. ( She also invented the hashtag #sharesies )

Last one for today, The Blog of +S. Bradley Stoner who also uses the catchy title of S. Bradley Stoner, Author. This guy is so clever that he fools you into thinking he is serious, but then again you should probably follow his blog in case I am wrong and he is truly crazy ...
