The excitement is building, bets are being made, faces will be painted, babies and young children will have their own little jerseys, parties will be planned.
I grew up with my dad watching the Superbowl. Very vague memories of that but I still remember the Superbowl parties I attended when I moved over from the Western to the Eastern side of the U.S.
Men shouting, drinking tons of beer, betting on squares and winning, eating, talking with the other football girlfriends. What a blast. In fact, my son was born on the January 26th, 1986 when the Chicago Bears won the Superbowl that year.
I remember wondering where my baby was hearing nurses shouting for their team in the next room over, that's where he was. He has loved football ever since.
So good luck football fans. Party hardy and may the best team win.
Who are you rooting for this year? I love stories so do tell.
